This has many more seasons released over many years, with a new season lingering. It has excellent subs (search for Mooncakes Team) It is not exactly the same style but a really fun and good story.
Lastly, I would recommend:
Tales of Demons and Gods (lots of subs for this, unfortunately some that are extremely bad, just keep looking, there are decent subs for most of the episodes). Very short episodes but a quite good story.
The Legend and the Hero / Wu Gen Ji
Has a lot of supporters. I personally loved the first 2 seasons, and after that it started to fade for me. 3rd season currently airing.

Since we got 2 episodes on 8/8 does that mean we are not getting a new episode today at 15/8 ? also why there was not a preview of the next episode? I hope I’m not right on this but it seems like the season is over for now? can someone enlighten us plz?
Yeah, seems like that’s the case, damn that sucks. Even other websites that usually have the next episode out only show the 117 (91) as latest. I first thought that last week was the finale of the season since 2 episodes came out. I hope I’m completely wrong.

These hell’s road episodes are anticlimatic and less interesting than I anticipated.
They joined up to pass the road more easily, but that chick was just a hinderence. It would also have been awesome if tang san had some breakthrough or added that dragon as a soul ring to his hammer. But, that just makes me wonder how exactly soul rings apply to people with dual spirits. Tang san’s dad told him awhile ago to not add a soul ring to his hammer. Was it revealed why he wasn’t supposed to? I feel like I’m forgetting something there, like some upcoming revelation when his spirit level hits 60.
They told him not too because they wanted him to get strong first means get to douluo level first and then add soul rings of 10000+ to his hammer as it will be much easier. Or if adds the ring now without his body good enough to handle it he will die. Tang hao told him that after he rescued tang San from the tournament
Can’t remember if it was outright stated or not but it was implied that he shouldn’t build upon the hammer because revealing it would put him in danger due to his father’s past and because it would be recognized way too easily thereby making him a target. Which was why he was told to only strengthen the blue-silver grass from his mother as it would cause him to not stand out.
The ads are really killing this site. I don’t mind a couple, but 10 is just crazy.
